Bare Life, Dead Labor, and Capital(ist) Punishment

Abstract

On September 21, 2011, two men—Troy Davis and Lawrence Brewer—died. Their deaths were planned, organized, and staged. They were not, however, murdered—at least, not according to our juridical discourse.
