Resumen

For several decades, Transnational Corporations (TNCs) and many institutions collaborating with them have been the target of several negative or anticorporate campaigns by civil society actors including anti-corporate campaigners, anti-capitalists, anti-globalists, greens, and academics despite their seeming contribution to the development of society. However, the present decade has witnessed a new trend in the relationship between these TNCs and civil society actors – the development of collaborative relationships, the purpose of which appears to benefit business’s image more than society.
